One of the more vocal anti-everything groups in the GTA is CAIR, run by an ex-councilor squatting on the island.  He wants to completely shut down the island airport, and he’ll spread lies to meet his goals.  He’s also recruited the resident socialist candidate to help him.

If they awarded a prize for fiction in advertising, then David Miller, the socialist candidate for mayor, and his sandal-clad friends in the Community AIR protest group would get the gold for their shrill campaign to shut down the Toronto island airport.
