An important site to rekindle those special mornings.

Michael Coren has no time for sperm donors, and the other selfish adults who conspire to ruin the laws of nature and a child’s life.
A Montreal man has gone to court to demand a role in the raising of his daughter. Ostensibly a good thing. Perhaps not, though.
Here’s a trend that’s worth getting excited about.
Walk down the halls of most downtown hospitals and you’ll see signs of old Toronto money
Middle class Canadians would probably give more, like their American friends, if the government didn’t confiscate as much as they do from their paychecks.
There’s nothing like getting sick and staying in a hospital to kick start your philanthropic tendancies. It’s no wonder more than half our tax dollars go to health care. Now if we could just get some efficiencies in the system to make our dollars go farther…
They should be removing the speed bumps from all residential streets, not just the rich ones leading to Sunnybrook. Look at the streets leading to Toronto Western on Bathurst. Bathurst doesn’t move, mainly due to the lumbering streetcar, but neither does College and Dundas for the same reason. All the streets around there are reversing one-way and full of humps.
A dozen speed bumps along Toronto’s tony Bridle Path and Post Rd. are delaying critically sick or injured patients from reaching Sunnybrook hospital, say paramedics and residents in the Don Mills area.
Humps don’t slow down SUVs anyway, so in reality, they are simply wastes of money.
As Ontario slowly repaints itself red, dismantling the CSR bit by bit, the Red Tory party continues to alienate its saviour of the past decade.
The former Prem made the news recently when he voted in the advance poll for the provincial PC leadership race. He apparently became irate when he was asked for two pieces of identification (the request seems a bit silly, considering he has one of the most recognizable faces in the province). Harris shot back: “Just give me the fucking ballot,” and grabbed it from the Deputy Returning Officer. (Harris’ spokeswoman later claimed he was asked for third piece of ID)
Vaughn-King-Aurora President Gabe Spoletini heard the commotion and asked what was going on. “You can challenge fucking ballot, you jackass,” said Harris. Spoletini replied: “Don’t be an asshole,” to which Harris responded with: “You’re the biggest asshole of them all.”
I only had to show my driver’s licence – which is common sense. To make the former Premier to practically strip right down is downright insulting – I hope he used every swear word as quoted above. Any less and I would have lost respect for him.
The ultimate insult will be when John Tory takes over this weekend. The treatment of its former leader is shameful, but not surprising.

Your OPP police force busy arresting disobedient civilians.
CUFOA executive officer and Dryden, Ontario, gunsmith Bruce Montague was arrested by the OPP this morning at 9 a.m. while attending a gun show in Dryden.
Child molestors get treated better … the ones that get caught with the police officers not arresting non-compliant taxpaying protestors.
Oh well, another Toronto newspaper charging pr0n rates per month that I won’t be reading.
The Globe and Mail have joined the paid content derby, announcing a package which will eventually cost $14.95 a month for
I’d really like to know how many people pay. It can’t be many.
Dabioch can’t figure out Coren, and his changing religions. I have to agree that I can’t either.
For years I have tried to understand Michael Coren and why he keeps changing colours.
I’ve mentioned the fact before that hospitals could easily save money by privatizing a few services, including $25/hour cleaners. The Fraser Institute has more.
Ontario hospitals pay their workers too much, with rising payrolls using up all of the additional tax dollars given to hospitals over the most recently available five year period, according to Where Does the Money Go? A Study of Worker Pay in Ontario’s Hospitals released today by The Fraser Institute.
The PM and his counterparts will get get nowhere if they don’t start using the P word at their gabfest. It won’t solve the unlimited demand for free healthcare but it will help.
I’ve always been against streetcars – they look pretty, but cost a fortune and do nothing to ease gridlock. Therefore, I am against the latest streetcar megaproject on St. Clair. They say $50 million – you know it will be $100 million. Hundreds of much needed new busses could be bought for that figure – and benefit all routes. They can even keep running when just one gets disabled on the line! What a concept!
The countdown to save St. Clair Ave. W. is on.
I never did like Dan Rather….seems like this latest not-checking-your-facts in the rush to be first with tabloid journalism may be his undoing, at least according to Mark.
I have a feeling after November CBS News will be promoting Dan Rather to editor emeritus.
Kudos to LGF for helping blow this thing wide open – and putting another nail in the mainstream media’s coffin.
A good post at Harry’s Place for all Canadians (who are almost as anti-American as the Euroweenies).
Alistair Cooke began his ‘Letter from America’ broadcasts in 1946 and he continued until the month of his death in March 2004. His ‘letter’ of December 2002, reproduced in full below, should be compulsory reading for every placard-waving, badge-wearing, slogan-chanting, effigy-burning anti-imperialist (sic) who treads the soil in ‘free’ Europe.

Even puppies will fight for their lives.
A man who tried to shoot seven puppies was shot himself when one of the dogs put its paw on the revolver’s trigger.
After a cold summer, it’s no wonder global warming stories have all but disappeared.
It’s been a disappointing summer for global warming alarmists.
